If you are looking for partners in crime in the digital imaging race, you can't beat the Canon i965 and Canon IXUS 430 as a nice matching pair.
 The Canon i965 (RRP $549) desktop photo printer prints up to 4800 x 1200dpi and uses just 2 picolitre Advanced MicroFine Droplet Technology. It has direct photo printing from compatible digital camera such as the IXUS 430 via the front mounted PictBridge camera port - no computer required. It supports the windows and Mac operating systems. You can print with true borderless photo printing on A4 - 6 x 4 - or 5 x 7 media and directly onto CD-R media.
 The Canon IXUS430 (RRP $699) is a compact 4.0 Mega pixel digital camera with 3x Optical Zoom (f/2.8-4.9 aperture and 3.6x digital zoom). It utilises a 9-point AiAF and single centre point AF and has continuous movie recording, playback with audio and on-camera editing for up to 3 min. The camera comes standard with a 32 Mb Compactflash Card.
Calido is offering the above together for $1099 including a free 128 MB Compact flash - thats a saving of over $200.
MYOB Premier Enterprise is the advanced multi user tool from MYOB that has been designed to run on a Windows 2003 Server using Terminal Services.
Terminal Services allows an application to run in a central location (the Windows 2003 Server) that can be accessed remotely through a virtual desktop. Because the application is not physically running on the local machine, you will not need high end client machines.
Another benefit of Terminal Services is the reduced bandwidth access to data - rather than physically sending the data, you are transmitting the user interface to the data.
The only problem with implementing such a system is the cost. Depending on your current version of MYOB, you can expect to pay up to $3950 for the Enterprise edition. This price includes 5 Windows client access licences as well as 5 Terminal Server client access licences. The yearly support charges from MYOB are around $700 per year (the first year is included in the initial purchase price).
If you do not have Windows 2003 Server already installed, you can expect to pay $1778 for the retail version with 5 client licences or from $1278 under the Open Licence program.
Based on 10 client licences, the initial implementation cost would be around $550 per user ($5500 total).
With Windows 2003 Server installed, you are situated perfectly to purchase SQL Server Std edition which will improve your performance with Comet. The base price for SQL Server is $1184 + $259 per client access licence.

Realising that our software has grown beyond the "easy to remember all functionality" stage, we have started work on the user document. To achieve this in a workable time, Michelle will be working on this task such that we can provide each user with a reliable source of information on our products.
We welcome Michelle to our team and hope she enjoys working with us.
Comet users should start preparing for the DepotDirect integration which will ship in the next update. The new release includes the DepotDirect Upload Wizard which will upload information from within your Comet database to your web server.
In preparing to use this feature you will have to configure your products and customers within Comet.
Customers
On the Financial Details tab of each customer file, you can select "Allow this customer to log into DepotDirect" and specify their password. This allows the customer to be listed as a distributor of your products, and also to log into your client section of your website to view their order status and product pricing.
Products/Assemblies
From within each product/assembly you can specify which items you would like uploaded to the internet by selecting the "Allow upload to internet" option.
